Lavender hydrolat is very versatile, both internally and externally. It has an astringent (anti-wrinkle) effect, purifies the skin and is a tonic for all skin types (specifically for the very young and still fragile skin). In addition, lavender promotes healing, is restorative and refreshing. It soothes sunburn, itching and irritation.
Nourishing for all skin types. Lavender is purifying and healing for acne-prone skin. It is a fantastic after sun spray. As a foot spray it has a cooling and perfuming effect. Lavender is an active ingredient in creams, aftershave balm, body lotion, et cetera.
As a tonic for the skin: spray on your face and neck after cleansing (be careful NOT in the eyes!), then apply cream or oil without drying or letting the hydrosol dry out. In a face mask added to white clay. Cooling as first aid for burns (spraying). In combination with Aloe Vera gel, an unbeatable duo for sunburn. As a healing and soothing mouthwash after a dentist and/or dental hygienist visit, but also very useful for canker sores. As a rinse water for the hair, when an anti-lice treatment has been applied. Brings peace of mind for babies and small children, nebulize in a nursery or a tablespoon in a bath.
