About Hemp Seed Oil
Hemp is one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world. Many people often think of cannabis when they think of hemp, but this plant oil comes from a hemp species that produces little or no resin and therefore has no mind-altering effect.

Thanks to the unique composition, hemp seed oil provides many positive effects! The fatty acids in hemp seed nourish and moisturize the skin without making the skin feel greasy. Hemp seed oil is suitable for every skin type but is a good choice especially for dehydrated skin and dry skin problems! Regular use of hemp seed oil can keep the skin young and taut; help slow down wrinkle formation and strengthen the skin.

Properties: The oil has a yellow to light green color and a spicy and nutty smell and taste. In addition to a distinctive nutty, mild taste and aroma, hemp seed oil features rare gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), plus antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and chlorophyll. In addition, the oil contains an ideal ratio (3:1) of essential omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids and is cholesterol-free.

Application & Use: Hemp seed oil can be used purely as a skin oil but can also be mixed with jojoba or other fatty plant oils. Massage:
Hemp seed oil consists mainly of unsaturated fatty acids and absorbs quickly into the skin. For a relaxing massage oil with hemp seed, you can mix 30ml of hemp seed oil with 70ml of jojoba, apricot kernel or almond oil. With a total mixture of 100 ml you can add another 10 – 15 drops of essential oil of your choice or application.

Culinary use:

Even a small amount of organic hemp seed oil can make a big difference and enhance and flavor cold dishes. Essential for a balanced diet. Wonderfully soft-tasting and healthy organic cold-pressed hemp seed oil. However, the oil is not suitable for backing, roasting or to deep-fry food, because the unsaturated fatty acids are very sensitive to heat. Delicious in salads or in smoothies and even over pasta.
