The aromatic delicate Jasmine blossoms are handpicked during the night or early morning, before the sun rises, in order to yield the highest essential oil concentration possible during distillation. The blossoms must be carefully harvested by hand so as not to bruise the flower as bruised flowers will produce unpleasant fragrance notes in the absolute.

Then give this composition at least a month to develop. After that, this composition is fine to use, drop by drop, in, for example, an inhaler stick or a massage oil.

Indole is a cyclic imine (a nitrogen-containing molecule) and a trace constituent in the volatile oil of some white flowers; it is very important in their aroma. Described as faecal at 10 per cent, it can be perceived as the odour of putrefaction, but trace amounts can impart a jasmine-like effect.
