Mango butter is an essential butter known for its nourishing and softening properties and is widely used in hair care products.
Our mango butter is pressed under mechanical pressure and then filtered through physical processes without solvents or chemical raw materials.

Mango butter can be used directly on the skin, but also when making products such as lip balm, soap, creams, and other products. Mango butter is extracted from the kernel of the mango tree. It exists in solid form at room temperature, and it melts when it comes into contact with the skin.
In mango butter the content of isostearic acid is high and therefore it shows some similarities with cocoa butter. Mango butter offers good protection against the sun. It has antioxidant properties and is rich in vitamins A and E.

Monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA): oleic acid (omega 9) (35-45%), Saturated fatty acids (SFA): stearic acid (37-47%), palmitic acid (5-18%)
Other active ingredients:
Unsaponifiables (2 to 5% of the total composition) including:
Phytosterols (including beta-sitosterol, campesterol, avenasterol): improve the barrier function and microcirculation of the skin, slow down skin aging, anti-inflammatory.
Oil alcohol: emulsifier and emollient.
Squalene: helps regenerate the lipid cement of the stratum corneum (squalene is naturally present in the skin and sebum).
Polyphenols (including catechin, epicatechin, propyl benzoate): powerful antioxidants, free radical scavengers, help restructure the skin by stimulating collagen synthesis.
Allergens: None (Annex III, EU Cosmetics Regulation, 1223/2009)
