Our Fragonia essential oil is steam distilled from the long leaves and twigs of the flowering Agonis fragrans shrub that grows wild in the Australian bush. With its sweet, balsamic, citrusy, spicy, camphor-like aroma, Fragonia Oil is often compared to Tea Tree essential oil in terms of therapeutic properties.
An interesting fact about Fragonia is that it has an almost perfect ratio (1:1:1) of three component families of aromatic molecules: monoterpenes (alpha-pinene), oxides (1,8-cineole) and monoterpenols (alpha-terpineol, linalool, geraniol and terpinen-4-ol). This is rarely seen with other essential oils and explains its wide range of uses.

Contraindications: Due to the high a-pinene content, old and oxidized Fragonia should not be used. Careful storage, preferably in the refrigerator, is recommended.
