Yin Yang symbolizes two opposing energies that complement each other. Yang represents the masculine principle: it is seen as the light, warm, mobile, and purposeful side and is also called the "sunny side of the mountainside". Yin represents the feminine principle: it is seen as the dark, cold, tenacious, and receptive side and is also called the "shadow side of the mountainside". Yin and Yang are not separate but work together. Something cannot be completely yin or completely yang: it is always a combination of the two.

The number of drops determines the effectiveness and of course also the desired fragrance experience.
To fall asleep or to sleep through and wake up rested:
For example, if you want to diffuse Nighty Night in a children's room (for children from the age of 2), drop 1 or 2 drops of Nighty Night on the fragrance stone and place it under the bed some time before going to sleep. For adults, 6 to 8 drops are more than enough. Do you put the fragrance stone next to your bed yourself to sleep well? Then a subtle scent experience is also very good!
At work? Then place a fragrance stone with our Concentration mélange on the desk. This blend keeps you alert, is effective yet subtle. The invigorating scents of black pepper, lemon, rosemary, basil, and field mint help you focus on what you need to do or what's coming up.

This certainly applies to a number of essential oils. Many drops on a fragrance stone or in a diffuser seems great at first. By using less, the effect is not less. If you are unsure about the number of drops, start with a minimal number of drops.
Our advice is to use similar scents on one fragrance stone. For example: one scent stone for citrus scents and one scent stone for wood scents. You can drop oil on the fragrance stone again and again, even if it is a different oil, but the smell of the previously used oil will never disappear completely.
How long can I use a fragrance stone?
Fragrance stones can absorb a lot of oil, but essential oil also evaporates after a while. If you use volatile oils such as a citrus or pine oil, you can use the same fragrance stone for this. Viscous (more viscous) oils such as Vetiver and Sandalwood will last longer. You can add a few drops to the fragrance stone every day.
Fragrance stones can also be used outdoors. We do advise you to completely soak the fragrance stone with your favorite oil or blend.
Cleaning:
Our fragrance stones are made of porous ceramic. As a result, the essential oil absorbs very well. Because the material is porous, the stone cannot be cleaned, because it would also absorb the cleaning agent. Our advice is to always use the same essential oil for a fragrance stone. Another oil on the same fragrance stone is also possible, but the scent of the previously used oil will never completely disappear.
